I have stumbled across a benefit of Blogging that I had not thought of prior to last night. Reviewing restaurants or travel etc. I actually heard someone talking about this. He went on a cruise and told the cruise line that he writes a Blog, initially they told him they would not do anything for him, but when he went on the cruise somehow his room was upgraded to a suite. As it happens I am going on my first ever cruise in November, and you can bet I will be contacting the cruise line to inform them that I am a Blogger, and will be posting a review of my trip. I will let you know how it goes.
I went to a restaurant in Clearwater last night called 13 café & Lounge. I used mynew “I write a Blog line” I don’t think it got me anything but I did have fun with the waitress, Jackie. She promised to read the Blog, although I don’t think she believed me. Anyway, Jackie is a very pretty girl with a great sense of humor and a very nice smile. I didn’t eat, I just stopped in for a couple beers with a friend of mine. It is a nice looking restaurant, and I will probably return for a meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the food smelled and looked great. Although at one point I was overwhelmed by the smell of curry, not one of my favorites. If you go ask for Jackie, and tell her you read about her on the blog, you wont be disappointed. Also make sure you see their giant wind chime, it must be six feet tall.
